The Weekend Edition

I love Christmas. I truly love it. And I'm so very excited it's that time of the year. I had a fantastic day today and I didn't do very much except...enjoy the little things.

Saturday's Gratitudes
Lazy mornings, templates that make gifts easy, comfy sweat suits, my son's laugh, and a nice long talk with my aunt.

Sunday's Gratitudes
Christmas decorations, Christmas carols, snow...everything Christmas, a nice BIL and SIL, my silly son, a comfy couch to use my laptop on.

Tomorrow we go back to school. I hope to remained focused on being grateful for the little things despite the hectic schedule ahead. =)

Thankgiving Gratitudes - 2 Day Special

We've had about two days worth of major gratitude around here...tis the season. So I have a lot to fill in. I'm sure that everyone has a lot of gratitude around this holiday, it's hard not to get caught up in it when the name of the holiday is "Thanks-giving"!

Thursday:
My Keurig coffee pot birthday present that makes hot tea and coffee in under two minutes, making food with my boy, a great set of in-laws, the relieved feeling when your EHD works when you thought it crashed, Eileen's stuffing, margaritas, that my family's thanksgiving is ten minutes from my DH's family so I can see both, my aunt's apple pie and homemade whipped cream, Wade family trivia, thoughtful cousins that give great three-year-old birthday presents.

Friday:
Sleeping in, chive-filled bagels and Rhodes cinnamon rolls, scrapping pages for my dad, a good trip to the store with my boy, playing Wii with my boy and DH, first annual Day After Thanksgiving game night, that SIL got the license she needed, fun SILs, well-behaved son, sweet smile and big brown eyes of well-behaved son looking up at me as we cuddle on a bed.

November 25 & 26

I'm most grateful for the holiday! There's nothing like the feeling that you have a break, even for a couple of days. We don't even have to travel anywhere and all I'm in charge of is chips and dip! =) Super easy.

Other gratitudes:
11/25
Being ahead of the game in one class, dinner with friends, Ben singing Twinkle Twinkle (this is becoming a theme), Dance Dance Revolution, comfy clothes, daydreams.

11/26
Jean day, the nice guy at the computer store that helped me, a supportive boss, two friends' birthdays, a quiet lunch, the book fair preview video, yummy chicken alfredo, relaxing knowing you don't have to get up, time to scrap, COSMOS!, the parade in the morning. The visitors to my blog! =)

Well...

This is my first post, but it's not quite what I had planned. I am very grateful for the friends and family that I've made over at Oscraps. (Really it's because of them that I have started this blog.) I have really begun to look at my scrapbooking in a more complete way and have grown as a scrapbooker (and probably a person) because of them. Holley is hosting a little discount for Bella Scraps magazine, and I love the magazine. It has great articles and tutorials in it. I loved the tutorial on extracting because it gave me some big time saving tips! And free kits are always fantastic. So I'm blogging about Bella Scraps, but it's all because I'm grateful for my O-fam!

Today's other gratitudes: Cool decorations being donated to the book fair, good volunteers, three day work week, playing BINGO with Ben, generous day care friends, cleaning with Matt (yes...grateful for cleaning...), giving in to the Christmas radio station and hearing Ben sing Jingle Bells.
